Ruth Charlott

Ruth Ann Charlott, 73, of Bloomington, passed away at 8:11 pm Sunday, (October 23, 2016) at Heritage Health, Bloomington.

There will be no visitation.  Her graveside service will be at noon Saturday at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.  The Rev. Paul Stroup will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington.  Arrangements are being handled by Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington.

Ruth was born Feb. 23, 1943, in Normal, the daughter of Raymond H and Rhoda M Allan Charlett. 

Surviving are her sister, Rhoda Jean Merilatt, Arlington Heights; niece, Dina (Scott) Piwowarczyk, Batavia; nephew David (Julie) Merilatt, Schaumburg; a great-nephew and -niece, Matthew and Abigail Piwowarczyk, Batavia. 

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.

Ruth lived her entire life in Bloomington.  She had worked at Country Financial for 37 years.  She was a member and past deacon of Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington.  After retirement she had volunteered at the church and at Irving School.
