Lexington - Sharon L. Williamson, 67, died at 8:29 p.m. Wednesday (July 14, 2010) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, Lexington, with the Rev. Carl LoPresti officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Merna.  Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Carmody - Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, with a prayer service at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or a charity of the donor's choice.

Sharon was born May 30, 1943, in Bloomington, the daughter of Clarence Perry and Edythe Tindall Graves.  She married Ralph T. Williamson on September 20, 1969, in Lexington.  He survives.

She is also survived by one daughter, Julie L. Williamson, Lexington; two sisters, Carol (Bud) Laskowski and Debbie Graves, both of Bloomington; three brothers, Donald (Doris Ann) Graves, Marigold, Texas; Thomas (Wanda) Graves and David (Peggy) Graves, both of Bloomington; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Watt, Lexington.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Tyndall Graves.

Sharon was a 1961 graduate o Bloomington High School and was a corporate secretary at State Farm Insurance Cos, retiring in 1998 after 36 years.  She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Lexington, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.  She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, enjoyed golf, gardening and playing cards.
