09/09/2016:  Our class Get-Together for September is Saturday, September 17, 2016, at CJ's Restaurant,12:00 noon, Bloomington, IL.  RSVP if you plan to attend by clicking on "Contact Us" in the gold column on the left of this Home Page screen.  Hope to see you there!

08/31/2016: Mike Foret's wife, Denise, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2016.  Details are not available at this time.  Our condolences to Mike and his family. 

04/25/2016: 55yr CLASS REUNION - OCTOBER 1, 2016 at LAKE BLOOMINGTON. Very informal/casual with the emphasis on talk, reminiscing, reacquainting, catching-up.  Likely will have a laid back fun activity, or two, plus some of our music with a barbeque dinner at 5:00 p.m.  Cost - $20 per person.  Lodging - A block of rooms reserved Friday and Saturday at The Chateau (formerly Jumer's) - $79 per night (plus tax), includes a $5 voucher toward breakfast at Tony Roma's which is located in The Chateau.  (Be sure to tell The Chateau you are with BHS Class of 1961 to get this discounted price.) The Chateau has a great bar which we plan to use for Friday Happy Hour and later gathering.

We are looking forward to great fun that weekend and hope to see as many of you as possible.  As we want to be certain all are informed, we ask you to reply to this email for certain to, whether or not you plan to attend.  This will save us time, effort, and expense of follow-up.

6/08/2012:  In the 5/31/2012 Pantagraph, Bloomington High School was reported as ranking in the top 10% of high schools surveyed nationwide this year by U.S. News and World Report magazine and the American Institutes for Research.  BHS ranked 68th in the state among 672 high schools and 1,880th out of 22,000 high schools evaluated in 49 states and the Dist. of Columbia (Nebraska did not report enough data to be included in the survey).  The schools were evaluated in terms of college readiness, success in advanced-placement classes and other factors. 

1/28/2012: The Message Forum is a good tool to start a dialog and communicate with your classmates.  It is simple to use and everyone has a chance for input.  Click on Message Forum in the gold column on the left of this screen to access the site.

10/27/2011:  The slide show to honor our classmates who have served in the U.S. Military has been added to the website.  To view, click on "Military Hon. Slides" in the gold column on the left of the Home Page screen. 

The videos "In Remembrance" and "The Reverend", which were part of the 50yr Reunion Program, are both available for viewing by clicking on each in the gold column on the left of this Home Page screen.
