Steve Davis

I'm not only officially retired from ministry, but I'm also serving churches in retirement as a part-time Interim Minister. I live with my wife Bev and pooch Fuzzy in Madison, WI. I commute from here to churches around the state, depending on where my current church(s) is. At this time, I'm serving two congregations near Lake Geneva. I'm there only on Sundays for in-person worship that is also taped. I've been ordained for 45 years and served 20 churches! I can't believe it.

I enjoy coming to B-N to visit my brother Geoff, his spouse Kay, and sister Chris. I like eat at Portillo's, Steak N' Shake (memories), and Olive Garden.

Since graduation, I've lived in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, West Virginia, Upper Michigan, and Wisconsin.

In my senior year I lettered in tennis. That's because most of the other seniors on the team got kicked off for acting crazy. I played in an away-game and afterwards we stopped for burgers. Coach Bertinolli stopped us from eating, so he could say grace. We bowed our heads, and then he said, "Eat!" What a coach!
