Joyce Ann Apps Watkins, 60, of 1312 S Madison, Bloomington, died Tuesday (Aug 19, 2003) at 10:07 p.m. at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomimgton, Funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday, also at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Park Hill Cememery, Bloomington.  Dr Randy Perry will be officating.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Joyce was born Dec 16, 1942, in Bloomington, to Edwin and Irene Newby Apps.

Surviving are her parents of Bloomington; one son, Gerald "Scott" (Jen) Watkins of East Peoria; two sisters, Jean (Wayne) Childers of Hudson; and Janet (Robert) Briggs of Bloomington; one brother, Jerry Apps of Bloomington; three grandsons, Codi, Justin and Caden; and one granddaughter, Michala.

She was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Janet Apps.

Joyce was a member of the Eagles in Bloomington.

She currently was working at Promises in Bloomington.  Previously she worked for over 10 years at Sugar Creek Packing Co.
