Cathy Christiana

Miss Cathy Lynn Christiana, 21 , of 1 Kingswood Drive, Normal died at Carle Clinic in Urbana at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.  She had been hospitalized for nine weeks.

She was brought to the Metzler Memorial Home where friends may call beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St Matthew's Episcopal Church with the Very Rev F H O Bowman officiating.

She will then be taken to Bond Funeral Home at Schenectady, NY.

A funeral and burial will be there Monday.

She was born in Schenectady, NY, Nov 15, 1942, a daughter of William G and Alice Blake Christiana. 

Surviving are her parents; a brother, Jeffery G, Schenectady, NY; her maternal grandmother, Mrs Samuel Blake, Schenectady, NY; the paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Earl Christiana, Port Orange, Fla; and several aunts and uncles.

She was a Bloomington High School graduate and was a junior at Illinois Wesleyan University.  She was a member of St Matthew's Episcopal Church and the Sigma Kappa Sorority of Illinois Wesleyan University.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of contributions to St Matthew's Episcopal Church or Sigma Kappa Sorority of Illinois Wesleyan University.
