Sharon Foster (Rodgers)

Sharon Rodgers, 50, of Murfreesboro, Tenn, a Bloomington native, died Friday (June 25, 1993) at Vanderbilt Hospital, Nashville.

Her funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro.  There will be a graveside service at the time of burial at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

She was born March 29, 1943, in Bloomington, a daughter of Frank Russell and Leila Ely Foster.  She married John W Rodgers IV in 1964 in Bloomington.  He survives.

Other survivors include her mother, Bloomington; two sons, John W Rodgers V, Cordova, Tenn, and Geoffrey Rodgers, Chattanooga Tenn; and one sister Judie Dickerson, Lancaster, SC.

Mrs Rodgers was a registered nurse at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, Murfreesboro.  She received her nursing degree from Methodist Medial Center, Peoria.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Murfreesboro.
