Roger Jordan

Graveside service and interment for Roger Guy Jordan, age 65, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Springhill Cemetery with Rev. Dewey Bass officating.  Services are under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA.

Mr. Jordan, a former resident of Palmdale, CA died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at his residence in Springhill.  He was employed as a mail carrier with the US Postal Service and was a retired truck driver.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Mccowan Jordan.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marie Jordan, of Springhill,  LA; his children, Christine Jordan, of Blanchard, LA; Roger Jordan, Jr. of Ruston, LA; Heather Jordan and Christopher T. Jordan, both of Bloomington, IL; and a sister, Barbara Scott, of Clairmont, CA.
