Shirley Ann Meredith

Shirley Ann Meece, age 73, of Bloomington passed away at 8:15 p.m. on March  27, 2017 at Palm Terrace.  Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Mary's Cemetery, 603 W Jackson St, Bloomington, IL, 61701.  Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family.   

 Shirley was born on May 27, 1943 in Bloomington, the daughter of Harry O. and Etta May (Rogers) Meredith.  Survivors include her sons, Thomas Jeff Meece of Bloomington, IL, Timothy E (Shari) Meece of Lees Summit, MO; daughter Pamala S. Forrest of BLoomington, IL; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and brother Teddy (Donna) Meredith of Bloomington IL.  Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mitzie A. Meece; sisters, Mary, Florence, Edna and Zelma; and brothers, Junior and Frank.  The family would like to thank Nick Vericella and Judy Scovel of St. Mary's, lifelong friends, Judy Brady and Donna Fojlik and family friend John Rhoda.
