Denise A Sutton (Stewart)
Denise A Stewart, 60, of 1611 Beta St, Bloomington, died at 1:44 a.m. Wednesday,(May 28, 2003) at OSF St Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. She had been ill.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, the Rev Gregg D Petri officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born April 12, 1943, at Lapeer, Mich, a daughter of George and Maureen O'Hare Sutton. She married Gaylon Stewart.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra Carlin and Angela Stewart, both of Bloomington; two sons, Robert Stufflebean, New Orleans, and Timothy (Shannon) Stuffelbean, Bloomington; one brother, Dennis (Ronna) Sutton, Bloomington; seven grandchildren, Sara Wright, Maureen Wright, Matthew Wright, Chelsea Stewart-Carroll, Arianna Stephens, James Stephens and Cassandra Stewart; and one great-grandchild, Jamie Tate.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Denise worked for General Electric of Bloomington for 20 years. She was a machinist and a past member of Machinist Lodge 1000.
She enjoyed reading to her grandchildren and collection angels.
